5 Things to do on Ram Navami

Ram Navami is a Hindu festival, where the birth of Lord Rama is celebrated. The festival celebrates the descent of Vishnu in the form of Lord Rama.

Many people decorate their house, put up marigold flowers and mango leaves in front of their gates, make rangoli and worship Lord Ram, Mata Sita, Laxman and Lord Hanuman.

As per the Hindu calendar, Ram Navami falls in the month of Chaitra, as it signifies the start of the spring season. And according to Hinduism, spring means starting fresh, as trees grow new leaves, flowers bloom, days become longer and brighter. Spring is nature’s way of doing a new Start for the year.

And what better occasion than Lord Rama’s Birthday, to start off with new things, new beginning and new journey to have joy all around us.
